RUGBY .. YAWN

© telegraph
It's been a while since blog and I talked about anything remotely to do with rugby and you may have been wondering why. Then again, you may just have been breathing sighs of relief. However, the sad truth is that there is only one, bloggable, word to describe this season and that is: B-O-R-I-N-G. At the beginning of the season, Stade seemed to forget that they had Mirco in the team, and Stade (and 'Quins) lost quite a few games or either limped to a 'match nul' (literally and figuratively), then to make it even worse, Nick injured his leg and hasn't been seen since. Unfortunately, the autumn internationals are doing nothing to lift the rugby spirit, each week I watch, expectant, waiting for something thrilling - is a proper try too much to ask for these days? or even an attempt at running with the ball? - only to see my hopes dashed. Still, one small crumb of comfort: there is at least the prospect of the haka to look forward to next week. And, surely (dare I say it?) the VI Nations?
