On Sunday, it was one of my lovely friend's birthdays so my visit to Notre Dame was special in more ways than one.

I had a lovely time in Paris, even if everything was wrapped in mist and damp (you can just about see the Eiffel Tower if you look closely).

Since it's that time of year, I thought it might be appropriate and fun for blog to have its own advent calendar with each day featuring something reflecting what's been happening. To all those party people who came to give the new house a brilliant warming - thank you for coming and for the presents and for sharing your warmth, it was really lovely to see you! I admit to missing your presence afterwards in more ways than one (especially since the house was sometimes as warm as that sparkler above). But don't worry, it's better now so don't be afraid to come back!

I've been waiting for his proud parents to announce his arrival officially before posting on blog and now they have done so, I am so pleased to be able to tell you about the birth, a month ago, of a special baby boy: Mackenzie John! Brilliant news!

YOGA - XII

The lack of a normal internet connection, together with a certain hectic-ness, combine to make it difficult to post regularly at the moment, so I'm just passing briefly by to start December with the final yoga pose of the year. Indeed, how could I do otherwise? Just like the yoga, I really did set out full of good intentions and even meant to use the extra hour we got (all that time ago!) to update you on my news. But then events took over and blog and I lost our way. However, the right path beckons again and blog posts should resume again 'normally' soon!
