Yesterday, while training, David Strettle injured his foot. Today, it was confirmed that, due to this broken metatarsal, he’ll be out of action for TWELVE WEEKS! Which means that my player to watch will miss the World Cup! So, all eyes on Mirco now!

The Rugby World Cup is just one little month away now but the preparations are well under way. Last week-end, England thumped Wales, apparently underpowered, 62-5. Somehow, I don’t think it will be so easy this coming week-end against France.

Well, here I am back after my little vacances in Paris. It may have crossed your mind that I was having so much of a whale of a time over there that I simply didn’t have the time to blog. I won’t deny the whale but there really was another reason and that is because the co,puter keys qre qll in the zrong plqce qnd it is very frustrqting to hqve to type slozly becquse you qre qlayqs looking qt the keyborqd to check zhere youùre putting your fingers, Zho on eqrth thought thqt it zould be q good ideq to ,qke q keyboqrd in such q aqy§

Anyway, French keyboards notwithstanding, I had a brilliant time and saw and did so many things that to list them all here would be like one of those boring school essays but I can tell you that I:
- was re-united with my beloved gargoyles (twice)

- ate ice cream (four times)- went to the cinema (lots - I have a UGC card and I’m not afraid to use it)

- saw the Hand exhibition (and - horror! - queue-jumped). I even went ‘swimming’ and found myself with the luxury of the baby pool all to myself. Still, there’s no place like home!
