NEW GARDEN

Well, in-between revision (which I am finding thoroughly tedious), I have acquired a new garden and although at the moment, it is looking vaguely wild and abandoned, I can see past the knee-high grass to the cherry tree, lilacs and flannel bush (one of whose relatives was last seen being chopped down in the Jardin des Plantes). Ah, happy times ahead ;)

URTICA DIOICA

You should always look after herbs but this week you have to be especially nice, and to nettles in particular as it's 'Be Nice to Nettles Week'. They are full of nutrients, really good for skin problems, as well as helpful for aching joints. So be good and have some nettle tea!

There's research being undertaken by the Open University and the Wellcome Trust, exploring complementary and conventional approaches to healthcare. For those interested (and woe betide anyone who isn't ;p), here's the survey.

Trafalgar Square's fourth plinth project rumbles on, meanwhile, the shortlist has been announced for Kent's own 'Angel of the South'. £2 million for a horse or some other symbol of Kent!

MIRCOO!

It's also been a while since I talked about boywonder but frankly, that would also be awfully boring (for you) and the truth is, he's not having much of a season, in fact since the end of the VI Nations, he's been keeping the bench warm for most of it. However, here's a little photo just in case you've forgotten what he looks like. Ah, the dynamism! the hands! those cheekbones!

YAWN, YAWN, YAWN

Well, it's been a while since I provided an update; but frankly, it would be awfully boring and mostly just letting you know my progress on assignments and revision, zzz. But let me share my pain, here is one of my revision maps:

BTW: exam on the 22nd just in case this 'energy' medicine stuff does work ;p

YOGA V

I think I need this month's pose more than ever; its benefits include:
- brings fresh blood to the head
- relieves pressure on the lower back and lower body
- improves balance, concentration and memory
- increases intellectual capacities
- allows one to look at life from a different angle.
