As is often the case, I was torn this week-end between rugby and art. Art won (with hindsight, a jolly good thing) and I went to the wonderful new Rothko exhibition at the Tate. There are nine superb rooms within which you can still gain a sense of peace even if there are other people milling about. It raised lots of questions about such things as meaning, colour, composition, space, context, um, maybe the next visit should be to the Curator's lecture ..
