It's the eve of quite a few eventful happenings: another bank holiday; a whole day of possibly inescapable wedding coverage; an excuse for eating cakes, dressing up and doing exactly as I please day and Stade v. Clermont to boot. Tomorrow here we come!

FROGGIE!

I have the tiniest of tiny ponds in my garden, it is in fact an old butler sink, but it allows me to grow water-loving plants like bogbean, houttuynia and a tiny water lily and I've even seen the bees drinking from there too. In the last couple of days though, I have noticed a newcomer who's taken up residence in the pond and he/she seems very happy there!

It could be a good April this year. The month is only a few days old and yet the media have already begun counting down the days to my (and William & Kate's) special day. Spring is definitely on its way, there are two really good exhibitions to see, a trip to Crocus, Easter week-end (mini eggs please!) AND a trip to France for some shopping to look forward to! And just when I thought that it couldn't get any better, up pops the return of 'Engrenages' on the BBC. For those of you who don't know it, it's one of those ubiquitous 'gritty police-crime dramas'. But it's French. And set in Paris. And has Gregory Fitoussi. Alors ..
